Sam,

I have just sent an email having problems logging into my admin panel for DLGuard...

It seems your hosting account has been suspended... I suspect that is why I cannot log in since your server is not authenticating me...

Please advice...

Same problem HERE!

Sam,

What is going on?!!!!

I can't get into my admin, and I can't even get to the dlguard website. I have had an outstanding ticket with you for 2 full days that has NOT been resolved yet, and can't afford the loss of money this is causing me. I don't mean to be a squaky wheel or come across as too angry, but this is NOT a good thing. Customers are whining like mad! It is making me look like a complete unprofessional!

Hi Sam.

I bought DLGuard as a full version and paid for 3-4 upgrades. I can't understand why my business stopped if your server is down. I pay over $1100 per month to have an always running server and now my DLGuard is broken!

We start in our 2 weeks holidays and I have to setup my offers before we go!

I need a running system in the next 2 hours. I trust you can fix it but please HURRY!!

Reimund Embarassed

P.S. I've now bought the JVManager but I need time for the learning and setup!

This is CRAZY!!!

I cannot believe I have to PERSONALLY wait, AND have MY CUSTOMERS wait for a hosting account to get un-suspended...

I got DL Guard because it looked like the most serious, professional, and best download manager out there... I gladly paid the extra bucks for it...

My company looks UNPROFESSIONAL... The worst part is that it is out of my control... UNLESS I want to buy another solution, create templates, payment buttons, custom emails, set it up, configure ClickBank, PayDotCom, PayPal, eBay... UNREAL!!!

I am willing to pay for an upgrade to have my download manager be stand-alone and not dependent on your suspended hosting account.

Please reply, fix it, or both...

Hi everyone,

I've contacted my hosting provider about this and am waiting for a solution.

There's nothing I can do from my end, so believe me, I'm not pleased about this either.

I'll be moving DLGuard to a new host once this has been fixed.

Normally DLGuard should have allowed you to login, even when the server is down (it may just take awhile longer). It seems that the server is in some kind of up/down state as it is.

I'll get back to you when I know more.

Okay, we're back up and running.

The "dlguard" account on my server was suspended, but no reason was given why. I'm still waiting to hear back from my host on this.

But it's now been unsuspended, and everything is back up and running.

I'll be looking into why people had trouble logging in to DLGUard when the server was down, as this should NOT have happened.

Your copy of DLGuard should not be reliant on my server, and this is how I designed the software, and so I'll be checking the code out again.

I'm thinking the update to CURL may have caused issues here.

cheers

Whew! That's a relief.

I bet one thing:

I bet Sam won't have that happen again... Laughing

I hated having to think about swtiching after having just gotten everything working great!

Hi Robert,

It definatly won't be happening again!

I'm working on some DLGuard code, and I'll also be moving servers.

I'll keep everyone updated on the server move at a later date!

cheers

Hi Reimund,

It seems like you were using the receipt Paypal gave you instead of the one DLGuard gave you.

I've emailed you the correct receipt - this should get you in.

cheers

Just a quick note, as someone has mentioned this topic recently:

This issue is an old issue that has been fixed awhile ago. If the DLGuard server falls over, there is no longer any issue with the way your software operates.

This issue has been solved a while ago now.

cheers
